By far, most people will get introduced to the d20 logo by looking at the back of
their PHB, DMG, and MM. Hopefully the association with the 3e books will go a long
ways towards overcoming negative reactions from a few bad eggs.
I think the stat block idea of describing what type of material is included (monster
reference, adventure, setting, characters, etc.) would help consumers to figure out if
the shrinkwrapped booklet they are looking at is something worth buying.
