You should... class has a very different meaning now.

Basically: you can multiclass however you want, whenever you 
want. You can gain one level as a mage, the next as a fighter, the 
next as a thief, then one more level as a mage etc.

Each level you add up the relevant bonuses (attack etc.) and 
abilities. You can spend the skill points you gained in skill 
belonging to the class you just leveled or even in those not 
belonging to your class, but you'll pay double for those.

End result: you can do whatever you want, but if your current class 
is "fighter", you better spend your points in fighter skills, otherwise 
you're wasting half of them. As it should be: learning magic abilities 
while you're busy practicing swordfight doesn't make any sense.

All in all, I like the system. My only remaining complaint is the low 
granularity of PC development (i.e. the PC remains the same from 
"XP for current level" to "XP to next level - 1", then one more XP 
and BLAM - better attack bonuses, better skills etc.).
