Yes. The core system (A "tweak" of the skills and feat system from the SRD)
was written months ago--long before Star Wars d20 came out. The class
included in the current version is unique, and of about 39 skills and feats
in the 1.0 version, only about 13 are from the Star Wars game--those, and
two tables for the effect of skills.
*sigh* I *could* take those parts out, but I don't want to fork open gaming
unnecessarily. I could also take those parts out and leave placeholders...
but then I'd have to tell people where to get the rules, which would mean
either mentioning Star Wars (prohibited by the OGL) or inferring Star Wars
(which would be potentially confusing, silly to boot, and make me look and
feel like a thief.)
