You seem to be trying to create a controversy where none has ever existed.

First, there was no flame war. We had a very above board discussion about
why I was protecting the rights to my FAQ, whether there should be a freely
distributable FAQ, and when and under what conditions I would donate my work
it to the OGL. This discussion led to me suggesting that Doug write a
freely distributable "Party-Line" FAQ (which he did) and to me both offering
comments on his FAQ and allowing him to paraphrase my FAQ and copy my links.

At that time it was public knowledge (discussed on the boards) that I had
registered "opengamingfoundation.com" and "opengamingfoundation.net" and
pointed them to the (at that time only) OGL FAQ, which in turn points to the
OGL.

I have made no secret of this fact or of my intention to donate all of these
resources to the OGF once the foundation is established as a legal entity
with an elected directorate and some measure of independence. This was my
sole reason initially for writing the FAQ, and for all the effort I have put
into it since - to work towards an independent Foundation that would serve
the needs of the gaming community.
