Ryan would be a fool to pursue it, it would create an impression that this is indeed NOT a free spirited movement, but the personal toy of Ryan Dancey (and by proxy, WotC). As someone else pointed out, if Ryan was worried about the other domain categories, he would have registered OGF subdomains for them when he purchased the first one.
