To complete my first mail about wound effetcs, here is a sample of what I 
thinking about.

It's an extension of VP/WP rules by Brad Thompson (which is already a great 
work in itself).

Let's add two new 'conditions':

- Seriously wounded: the character has suffered wounds that hindred his 
movements and can break his concentration. All bonuses from abilities, 
skills, levels (base attack, saving) are halved. Spellcasting requires a 
succesful concentration check.

- Critically wounded: like Seriously wounded, but bonuses are divided by 4.

Then, apply the worst :
- when character remaining wound points is below half its total wound 
points, it is seriously wounded.
- When character remaining wound points is below one quarter of its total 
wound points, is it critically wounded.

Note that characters continue to heal wound points as normal. But a 
seriously or critically wounded character can not heal vitality points.

I add that these rules should apply to PCs as to monsters and NPCs.
