I've been out-of town for a few days & had hundreds of emails---I got
delete happy, but in that process, I thought I saw someone from Necromancer
Games(sorry I'm terrible w/the names of people I work with:)) post
something to the effect that they were gonna do a "lairs" deal (5 or so
pages per scenario)---have I taken to many pain pills or was that an actual
thing---such a deal would work great fer me---I have a bunch of ideas, but
before I do something big, I would like to start out small. Are there
guidelines for submissions already? Thanks
---<<warning, mild mini-rant coming>>----BTW, for those who are so
blessedly gifted & who are above the league of the rest of us, my hat off
to you. I hope you have continued sucess---I had thought this list was for
people to share ideas & epiphanies--from the insecure, inexperienced,
ignorant, or the too careless to try to improve themselves to those that
are just bursting w/greatness in all they do. The guy who had suggested
that those who havent had (or tried, yet, to have) any success in the D20
writing field may want to get together in some kind of forum & bat around,
get different takes on, & generally brainstorm on various ideas had come up
with (IMHO) a good idea--but it seemed that there were those who, in their
greatness, straifed him instead of offering any suggestion or such to help
him & his idea. Personally, I am definately one of those who is insecure,
inexperienced, & ignorant as far as the D20 business aspects go---but a
solution for that is offered by several of the fine companies(brown-nose
moment:)) that are represented on this list. But as far as being on of the
"too careless to try to improve themselves" types---I'm not, & I seriously
doubt anyone on this list is--after all, isnt this list for those who wish
to add to their knowledge of things D20-ish
<<Apology>>---sorry if anyone took this personally, it wasnt meant to flame
anybody---I've just got back from spending time w/a person who came across
as "I'm more intelligent & better in all things than any around me"--such
people strike a nerve in me--hell, I no theyre everywhere--I work w/a
couple of women whose noses seem to be so far in the air that they will
drown if it rains. OOPS! there I go being (somewhat) what I was bitchin
about---oh what a cruel, cruel world:)................Everybody have a nice
one & try & be nice to one another (Um is this the point where "We Are The
World" starts playing 8()--Bleck! let me shut up for I make myself sick
