Ah, this has been bothering me.  "Harrier" is the name that the Royal Air
Force/Royal Navy gave the jet in question.  The USMC also adopted the
name, that was not the name that British Aerospace came up with.  Most
_Military_ aircraft names are not trademarks, because the they are names
given to the A/C by the military, not the maker.  There may be some cases
where the maker gave it the name, but there will be a non trade-marked
"name" as well. (B-17, P-51, B-2, whatever...)


Just a minor rant, carry on with the rest of the ranting about the text of
the license.
