If this is the case, then how does one present the D20 information
specific to a "room/location" within the text of the module. Have an
entry that says, "If you want to see what creature is here for the
characters to deal with, see section 12.6.3 of the appendix, since all
the material covered under the OGL is detailed there."

I don't know about most people, but it seems like the creature (or
whatever) information is more accessible if it is right there in front
of the consumer when they need it rather than several pages away in an
appendix. I realize that different people have different opinions on
this, but with the OGL material (and thus the D20 material) needing to
be presented in a format such that it can be easily differentiated from
the "story" or "setting" description.

And please don't start with "the story/setting should be OGL". Because,
as was already stated by Nicholas, at the <guildcompanion.com> we will
be adding some content to the OGL "community", but not all of what we
publish will be added in the "open format".

We need a good way to survey the general public on this issue, then
anyone who wants to truly provide a quality product can follow what the
consumer wants. I contacted WebRPG to ask them if they would be willing
to run this survey, but does anyone else have any ideas for places to
contact as locations for this type of a survey to take place? The
consumer and the independent developers would both benefit from this.
