Yep. Every CCG I've ever seen uses this same mechanic to indicate a used or
inactive card.  The only difference is the term that they call it.  Legend
of the 5 Rings uses "bow", Doomtown used "boot" but they are in effect the
same as "tapping" a card in Magic.
