Exactly the reason I am suggesting that it is in every publisher's best 
interest to make and provide an SRD - to distance their "open" content from 
their PI and Trademarks.

Honestly, when I first posted about this subject, I thought the rationale 
was obvious.  I had no idea there would be *any* disagreement.
