I apologize to Mr. Kim. This was the result of a series of honest mistakes
on both our parts. The way it originally played out to me was that it
*really* looked as though he had stolen the FAQ, altered the links in it to
point to his site, then registered HIS OWN VERSION with various search
engines.
After discussing it with him, we found that this conclusion was the result
of mistaken assumptions (both technical and otherwise) on BOTH our parts.
For my part, I was unaware of changes that my webmaster had made to the FAQ.
For John's, he did not realize that the directory he saved the file to was
open and would be "spidered" by public search engines.
I contacted him directly and we took care of it. I regret (was wrong) in
posting this matter to the list so hastily. It was early this >MONDAY<
morning I found out about this, and all evidence was pointing (incorrectly)
to some very nasty dealings on his part.
I apologize to him and to the list. Thanks for your patience.
Faust
