Look at it this way: if there is an unambiguous OGC declaration, then you can
be reasonably sure that the material within was not 'ripped off' or stolen from
its original author.  The gaming community probably pays more attention to this
than the nitty gritty of the OGL, and will eventually figure it out.  And a
clear OGC declaration *will* be, in some future time, a selling point.  If not,
then I have too high an opinion of the gaming community.

A bad OGC declaration is like selling DVD players without the original
packaging from the back of a van.  Sure, it might be legit, but who knows?  In
the end, only the consumer gets hurt.
