Dan, was the horn button re-chromed.....or just repainted? I have my old
original horn button, but it's got some bad pitting. About 4-5 years ago, I
got a new one from The Truck Shop for $15, and it looked great for about 3
years. Now it's pitting badly and starting to look pretty bad. What kind
of "restoration" does the guy do to the horn button? If it's re-chromed AND
repainted, that's a great deal. TIA for the info.

I recently got my horn button restored for just $20 (postage included) from
a guy I found on ebay. He is also a good source for heater parts. You can
see an example of his work at
