I would be more concerned about if the motor in the 51 is strong 
enough.  A 216 is pretty small.  If it's a long-haul, you also might 
consider installing a transmission cooler (radiator).  I had problems 
going from Anaheim, CA, to Redding, CA (560 miles), with a 52 chevy; 
that had a 6 cyl. in it.  Anyone else is free to comment on this; as 
you may not have any trouble.  It might have been my truck to blame.
