Check the drag link for play next as the springs in it tend to break .

I found the repop springs too long & stiff to be able to re - assemble so I 
asked around and got a good used original spring , cleaned & re - greased the 
whole thing and VIOLA ! no more play .

Fix as many little things as you can before going into the king pin bushings as 
that is a PIA job so unless they're really wobbly , do them last .

Spring end bushings , front or rear springs , when loose will have a _HUGE_ 
detrimental effect on steering and crack following .
