Hi guys.
The after market heater didn't work when I got my '52- 3100. Somewhere along
the line someone changed the system to 12V.  I cleaned it up to see what
repairs were needed. I hooked it up for a split second to 12V and the motor
runs but I assume it is 6 volt.

I purchased a Voltage reducer and the instructions clearly state that I must
determine the amp rating for the accessory to make sure the reducer will do
what is needed. (the reducer is designed for 1.5 ohms at 4amp max load)

How do I determine the amp rating? Although I have a multi meter, I only know
how to read voltage or continuity. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ken Wagner
