Ah!

Out of curiosity, are there JavaDocs or an equivalent at sun.com/star/... with 
or without redirection to oracle.com?  If not, where?

(It doesn't look like it.  I get a generic oracle.com page about the Sun deal 
having closed.)

the UNO API still uses the classic "com.sun.star." namespace for reasons 
of backward compatibility; changing that would break every extension and 
macro, and require a huge conflict-inducing change to the OOo code...
