One observation, before it slips through. Depending on gpl'd compilers and tools that we don't carry in the release is fine AFAICT.
In our bootstrap procedure we use Dmake (gplv1), which we must remove in favor of the external package, just like other OpenOffice forks do. A more controversial point is our use of GTK and Qt. Cheers, Pedro.
