This guy uses a Fujifilm S3 Pro modified with a UVIR filter instead
of Bayer (so basically it shows everything but visible light in B/W):

There are also motion capture systems based on IR.

The basic problem is that most lenses are not corrected for IR and
the filters on the CCD don't make it any easier to capture IR.

UV is about the same, but less supported -- see Bjorn's site for some
samples of that.
