VMware Workstation 6.5.0 build-118166
The VMWare Tools it was install was "VMwareTools-6.5.0-118166.tar.gz". The
build number here doesn't corrospond to the Open-VMWare build number does it?
I remember attempting to update the workstation for the last month for an
update to the tools but never found one, and after about a month I decided to
try others like the Ubuntu package.
Today however there is a 6.5.1 update which I'll install and try the offical
tools again, if it fails, I'll try open-vm-ware. I noticed that the offical is
huge compared to the 3MB open-vm-tools version. When it says "Opem VMTools is
a subsect of the offical tools", what is left out?
