The problem is that I can get the tools to install on VM ware 6.05 but
not VM ware 6.5. on 6.5 the install appears to go well but the local file
system reports a failure (although it works) and the HG file system
reports a failure. The question is what changed? It appears to be
something in the scripts or in VM ware itself.

The README says:

Perl-based installer for the Tools that is pretty good about providing

support under a variety of distributions and environments.
How can I leverage this script on my fc11 to make my compiled
open-vm-tools
install?
Should I leave VMwareTools-7397-156745.i386.rpm installed?
