Hi,
am having a problem I've never had before, and I'm kind of
lost on why this is happening.
In var/log/maillog I'm getting the error:
Sep 18 15:40:29 sasquatchwoods pop3d: authdaemon: s_connect() failed:
No such file or directory
Sep 18 15:40:29 sasquatchwoods pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, user=squatch,
ip=[::1]
Sep 18 15:40:29 sasquatchwoods pop3d: authentication error: No such
file or directory
I'm running OpenBSD 4.1.
I installed courier-imap-4.1.1p0.tgz and
courier-pop3-4.1.1.tgz.
In rc.local I have
mkdir -p /var/run/courier
/usr/local/sbin/authdaemond start
/usr/local/libexec/imapd.rc start
/usr/local/libexec/pop3d.rc start
I notice that the only subdirectories installed
in each users Maildir folder are:
cur new tmp.
In past installations (most recently 4.0), it installs
in the Maildir
.Drafts courierimapkeywords courierpop3dsizelist
tmp
.Sent courierimapsubscribed cur
.Trash courierimapuiddb new
Why are these additional directories not being
installed?
I don't find anything on Google that addresses
this except I see a
"maildirmake" that I've never used before.
In the past, I've always used squirrelmail,
but there's no need for it in this installation.
Was squirrelmail creating these additional directories?
I'm kind of lost, and if anybody can at least get me back on the
road aimed in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. :-)
thanks, Ed
