I use Rainbow with IE and I receive the message:Pat, On Monday 08 December 2003 15:02, Patricia wrote:Thank you, Chris!!!! Everything OK about revoke and suspend!!!!Good. Now, about crypto-utils.lib. I read at OpenCA-developers that some problems were found and the version 0.9.1-4 has already the patches to correct them. I'm using 0.9.1-4, but I can't sign the request's approvement. That is OK then. Can you confirm your errors, I thought you said that you could sign using IE but not verify. What are exactly the updates that I need to do?If you are using 091-4 then you should be OK.Is that problem already resolved or not yet? Is there any problem with Netscape 7.0?I don't use Netscape 7.0 so I don't know if you can sign using that browser.I have another questoin: I tried "Download certificate onto token", but it didn't work. Which tokens are accepted? Which tokens have you already tested and in which enviroment?Again, I am not really sure what this function is for. I have used all sorts of tokens (GEP, Rainbow, Activcard etc) but I create the keys and CSR on the token using the RA public interface and it has always worked.
Error 690
Configuration Error: Missing Configuration keyword DN_TYPE_token_KEYGEN_MODE
It really doesn't exist at pub.conf. Which parameter should I use at this configuration?
What stage are you at now ? You questions are spread quite widely over OpenCA functions !!!! Have you managed to build the CA and RA successfully ? Can you request client certs and then process them through the RA and CA and RA again ? If so then you are well on your way. Specific errors about RA signing certs can always be sorted after you have the main system working (for example, have you created an RA operator certificate which you are using to sign the request approval ? If not, then the signature will not verify as there is no certificate with a role of RA in the database).
