OK, I have only ever got Netscape 4.7* working with signing. I am sure Michael 
uses Mozilla, but I stuck with netscape 4.79 (old but I know it works).

If you look at the list archives there have been discussions in the past about 
using other browsers. I know there were problems with later versions of 
Netscape and Mozilla as they changed the way the browsers handled 
certificates and signing.
