Hello,
Thanks a lot Kimmo and Oliver for your answers, It doesn't matter for me in this moment the caducation of the CA cert I just wanted to test the request of a certificate usin a windows machine (at home, 'cause at the office we only have linux machines ;-)
I tested to make a cert request from another windows XP machine and when I was about to make the request in the cryptographic device option there was only one option: default, but Trying from my PC at home (I not only have windows but our lovely penguin) I have found several options as Cryptographic device, these are them:
- GemPlus GemSAFE card CSP v1.0
- Infineon SICRYPT Base Smart Card CSP
- Microsoft Base Cryptographic Provider v1.0
- Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider v1.0
- Microsoft Strong Cryptographic Provider v1.0
- Schlumberger Cryptographic Service Provider
So I have several questions too ;-)
1. How are those CSPs instaled in a Windows (98, ME, XP, 2000) machine?
2. What can be the reason one machine has only default (and that default doesn't work) and mine has 6 real options?
3. Which option could be more reliable ( I guess the MS ones are good enough, being the Strong the most secure)
4. What should I do to solve this issue?
Thanks a lot,
Johnny

It's there but the CA certificate I was able to found is not valid anymore:
Issuer: [EMAIL PROTECTED],CN=CA Manager\ ,OU=OpenCA Public
Test System,O=OpenCA Project,C=DE
Validity
Not Before: Nov 3 10:30:50 2004 GMT
Not After : Dec 23 10:30:50 2004 GMT
Subject: [EMAIL PROTECTED],CN=CA Manager\ ,OU=OpenCA
Public Test System,O=OpenCA Project,C=DE
