have a look at the microsoft support pages and knowledge base
its actually quite well information resource for windows ;)

maybe look for 'advanced encryption pack' or something or just:
"microsoft enhanced cryptographic provider" and the operating system
behind, google may also be a good resource

there are - especially for older system export restrictions
so that usaly only less encryption and store options are available in
the standard installations

now, some of this (gemplux, infineon, schlumberger) are for crypto
cards, so they are not really available, the microsoft ones are software
based containers - what each one means is described in the windows help
(f1) or the above mentioned mic rosoft knowledge base...
