It seems to be consistent.
I had it on 2 children, but it crashed after about 30 minutes.
There seems to be quite a lot of memory/disk swapping when running Mailscanner with only 32MB of RAM.
Not the best way of doing it it seems!
32 MB is a little too less for running MailScanner with more than 1 thread. Each thread needs around 25-30 MB of RAM and with big SpamAssassin rulesets, it goes up to even 70-150 MB depending upon the rulesets used.
