It took me much longer than I had previously anticipated, but I'd
like
to thank you all to let me figure it out myself ;-) I don't see a
better way to learn something than pulling some hair out for a while
and eventually cracking it. It would be worthwhile, though, to
write a
note so others won't get frustrated (and lose their hair) when they
run across such an issue in the future ;-)
So, to get it sorted out I had to rebuild the latest Geronimo Specs
project as well as build OpenJPA locally. I don't know whether these
projects are published anywhere and since they're under a heavy
development, it's worth to have them handy. Once these two projects
were built locally, the OpenEJB build went fine.
On to the @Stateless annotation...
