I would like various price points.

Something like

Documentation should be available free

$29.99 pa for (Personal)
* Automatic updates
* This mailings list
* A HOWTO: dealing giving detailed examples of often asked or hard to
acheive setups (you could also perhaps allow users to offer bountys for
good HOWTO: articles and then write them yourself or have the community
write it)

$100 pa for (Small business)
* Above
* 1 Support incident per annum (telephone or email) additional incidents
available at $75 er incident (you could sell a 5 pack for $325)
* Other things, like training but what kind of training are you talking
about? One to one? At training centre? A video? ? ?

$399 pa for (Medium business)
* Above
* Addtional tools (none GPL) for managing multiple installs
* 3 support incidents

$1,199 pa for (coporate)
* Above
* Preferencial unlimited access to support for upto 10 installs,
additional installs $100 pa
* Telephone and email access to a planning and advisory service

Or something to the above effect, I think you need to acknowledge the
full bredth of market that Openfiler attracts.

For instance for myself I would happily pay $29.99 pa, and for the
business where I am IT Manager I would happily pay $399 pa (or $1,199 pa
if I thought the product important enough to my business).

I think you should do a lot of thinking about the various market
segments and look at what is really attractive to each, home users and
hobbyiest are attracted by very diffeent things to large corporations).
