Thanks for pointing me towars [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've been able to
remotely drive BIOS, grub and to see linux boot messages via below command 
(ipmitool version 1.8.7):

ipmitool -H 10.0.0.7 -P ********** -e '!' -g -U Admin -I lan tsol
            ^^^^^^^^    ^^^^^^^^^^
            IP address  password
