Hi,
I developed an Opennms extension , that add agent based protocol.
This extension provides a new light protocol to comunicates with agents
installed on nodes.
In addition I designed a distribution system to distribute agents to several
OS.
This distributor is based on java service provider mechanism (
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/jar/jar.html#Service%20Provider )
for that reason it's simple and easy to implement a new distributor.
Furthermore I implemented a simple agent that monitors cpu and memory, this
agent is based on sigar library.
I want to contribute these extensions to the community, in order to get
feedbacks and improvements.
