So, as I'm pretty desperate for a fix for this, I've had a little look into it myself - and I've added a patch to the issue. Please be warned, as I point out in my comment, I'm not a java or onms dev :) ..so my patch may be bad, but it does at least compile and fix the issue for me. Even if the patch isn't great, I'm hoping it may at least point someone who could fix it properly in the right direction, and hence make it less arduous to fix?
