I've resorted to poking around the underlying mysql DB to get data in
and out, but it's not a great approach since the next version might
change the schema and the conventions for the manually-added custom
fields are a little strange. Maybe if you raise the question on the
OCS forum you can get some response from the developers as to the best
approach for interaction.
