As someone who has only done light UI development, (minor jsp edits), i’ve done
them under a running OpenNMS dev instance. For the regular JSPs not under
/WEB-INF/ this works ok. If you need to recompile the web app, then look into
using the runInPlace.sh script under the opennms-webapp directory.
It looks like this is documented on the wiki at
