http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_sdk.php probably is the right thing. Didn't find it when Widcomm was still on its own. I am not going to fill out the form, though. Additionally, I do not own any BT USB dongle that comes with a current Widcomm stack (3.x is too old and too insecure). We'd have to think about how to integrate several stacks into one lib though: either it is a compile time choice or ...? I guess that depends on a possible runtime library dependency and a method to find out which is the currently used one.
