I don't think there are much changes between 5.x and 3.x anyway there's 
an easy way to hack it, check the web ;)
I think I have one dongle with the last version.

I think using a runtime library would be the best. I don't know much 
about Windows C/C++ API, but I guess there must be any way to check this 
right?
