If your libusbx header and libraries are not in the default directory and
you are not using pkg-config, then you have to manually set the
following two flags to point the build system to libusbx.

  CFLAGS      C compiler flags
  LDFLAGS     linker flags, e.g. -L<lib dir> if you have libraries in a
              nonstandard directory <lib dir>
