You're right. The default in the spec file for
openpkg-import-20031027-20031027.src.rpm is:

#   package options
%option       with_mta      no

So one minor mystery (that I'll ask about in another thread) is why rpm -qp
--provides returns:
> rpm -qp --provides openpkg-import-20031027-20031027.src.rpm
openpkg-import::with_mta = yes
openpkg-import::with_mta_path = sendmail
MTA

In any event, I have attached my .openpkg/build file so you can see how I am
turning on "with_mta".
