Right! However pkcs11 engine makes lots of sense. I wasn't aware that there is such a engine. I remember having written one specially for pkcs11 less then 2 years ago. Perhaps you can simply define the engine as pkcs11 (instead of dynamic). Maybe this is OS specific too, not sure...
