Okay, I'll let you know how that goes. In the ldd output that I sent out earlier, there are some "file not found" messages. Could that be a problem?
Not sure, perhaps it's missing a package? Is this a Solaris box? I really wonder, if the pkcs11 interface module is hard coded into openssl and/or if there is a way to use other pkcs11 compliant modules...do you have any support for this OS?

Anyway, compile your own openssl in a non-default location. You'll be able to use the opensc module (and have an updated openssl version too) ;-)
