each different smart card needs its own driver. nobody wrote a driver for the eGK so far, so it is not supported. also -not 100% sure - the current eGK is dumb and only stores contact data like the old card? thus that functionality is not covered by opensc. only advanced models of the eGK might be interesting, once they contain crypto capabilities, certificates, and so on.
