It looks like the Future of OpenSG discussions have settled down out a bit. It think it is time to try to sift through the discussion and try to come up with a summary and some plans for the future.
Toward this goal, I spent a couple of hours this morning reading through all the Future of OpenSG emails and trying to summarize the discussed issues and conclusions. I create a document and put it at: http://opensg.vrsource.org/trac/wiki/FutureOfOpenSg My goal when I created this page was to provide a place to clarify the current discussion, issues, and future plans of the community. Once we have a consensus about where we are, I hope we can use this page as a launchpad for pursuing the solutions. We can even link directly from this page to tickets, commits, and other pages where we actually do the work. Can everyone who is interested please visit this page and add any points, issues, comments you may have. If you think it will lead to a long discussion, it may be better to e-mail the list and handle the discussion there so we don't turn the page into a chaotic discussion but instead keep it focused on summarizing the outcomes and future plans.
