Not exactly true. Google provided all partners with code that implemented an in-memory version of OpenSocial. This code forms the basis of what we've released so far. I was led to believe that this in-memory container would be released by now. If you look at the code that we've made available at http://code.google.com/p/hi5-opensocial/ you'll see that the only chunk of code that's Google provided is People.js http://sandbox.hi5.com/friend/gadgets/script/People.js I obfuscated this just as a matter of course. I'll see if it's okay to release the unobfuscated version to the public today. If you're writing your own container please feel free to reference that js.
