Hello world, How many developers have received the "personalized message" mentioned by Arne after submitting their application? If you received the message, how many days did it take after submitting your application? If I haven't received an email about apps I submitted prior to the Feb 15 11:59pm deadline, should I be worried?
The main reason I'm worried is because I did receive an email about one of my apps, but not the others. This makes me start having irrational fears about the submission form not working. But it could also mean my other apps are working fine and didn't warrant a reply from the Orkut team. Or maybe they weren't awesome enough to make the cut. Or maybe I haven't waited long enough. Or maybe the Orkut team is overwhelmed with 3,700 submissions for identical applications that let people give nuts as gifts. It would be really cool if there were some way we could check the application status online. For example, a web page where we could enter the email specified in our ModulePrefs, and the page would list all apps submitted for that address. The ModulePref attributes are publicly visible info and this is something that could be automated as part of the submission process.
