The installer for pmtools seems to use "perl -V:installscript" as a
default install location for these things, and that resolves as
/usr/perl5/5.8.4/bin on the current Perl in Solaris.

I note that of the things currently in that directory, *only*
/usr/perl5/5.4.8/bin/perl has a symlink in /usr/bin. The rest do not.

This case seems to propose installing directly in /usr/bin, or perhaps
it'll link from /usr/perl5/5.4.8/bin (the intention is a little
unclear).

Where is the right place to install things like this? Is this a new
precedent, or are those other things (such as the rather useful
'perldoc') installed incorrectly?
