I agree.  The main point in providing the links is so that if someone is
interested to check the API docs to see what a new interface in a
Committed library (e.g. GLib, GTK+, pango, etc.) does, then they can
easily refer to the documentation and see.  However, these API docs
describe all of the interfaces, in addition to the newly added ones,
which is why they are so large.  They are also useful as a general
reference of the GNOME library API's.
