Well, you have my vote, and I'll be happy to be involved. I can
completely validate how you outlined the process, that's just about
how it works out. I do RPM packaging for my employer's software
deployments, so I'm no stranger the to the process. I also completely
agree with your feeling that we can start at the first step. I think
when it really comes down to it, all the "distributions" should be
using the same patches, usually differences come down to installation
locations and configure options...
