and you could post a howto, instead of docs.sun.com? I did read that, and the man pages of ipsec, ipsecalgs, ipseckey, ipsecconf. And came to the conclusion that 'emerge vpnc' was probably simpler and faster path to connecting to office than reading all that. don't install manually if you don't like. Use freaking portage/pkgadd/pkgsrc or whatever shit you like.
rtfm is good but others help is what makes life easier and simpler for some of us. vpnc provides that help, docs.sun.com doesn't (in this case). aren't you the same person who replied with the same lines of text to rich teer's enquiry about solaris/VPN on google groups? slick man...so what do you do? do a google search on 'solaris vpn' everyday and cut & paste your reply everywhere? very slick.
