Among the UNIX big three (or four if you could count SGI), SUN is the only 
company that was able to port their system to the ubiquitous x86 platform.  If 
the new Galaxy system can be as successful as SUN has hoped, it should 
encourage (or help to encourage) college (or even high school) students to play 
with Solaris/OpenSolaris at home or in school labs.
